AVOTurboworld's New Gen 3 3" catless front pipe kit for the 2014+ Forester XT CVT transmission is constructed from high-grade stainless steel, ensuring longevity and comes with a ceramic coated j-pipe as well to keep under bonnet temperatures down. This was designed for the race car enthusiast. All this adds up to a huge decrease in back pressure and a big increase in performance. The intermediate pipe section after the j-pipe is 3” mandrel bent with the transmission mounting bracket.
AVO have also manufactured a OEM style flex setup as it is required to fit with the factory OEM cat back exhaust. Without the donut gasket and OEM spring loaded bolts, then your headers and any welds forward of the flex are prone to cracking. The stainless flanges are a lost wax stainless casting that are 13mm thick and will not warp under the harshest of conditions. The thickness of our exhaust tube is 1.5mm which is thicker than most aftermarket front pipes. This helps with noise absorption and with longevity of the product.

I received J and intermediate Pipes fine. I appreciate your service.
But I didn't notice the Setup to OEM catback (2.5 inches coupling) before the purchase.
Could you provide me information about pro and cons about this setup in order to work with a 3 inches catback already installed in my WRX.
