The AVOTurboworld Y61 Patrol 4.8L Turbo project was first developed in the 1990’s and over the years has been improved for total reliability.
We decided to use Uprev as the transportation device for the Y61 AVOTurboworld Turbo Kit base MAP. AVOTurboworld spent hundreds of hours into the development of this MAP for this vehicle. It has been tested for nearly 1.5 years with great success, testing mainly being in the hot deserts of Dubai. This MAP reliably controls the engine performance for forced induction and due to the huge output in torque that it produces we also had make changes to the automatic line pressure output within the ECU.
As it is an OPEN MAP that can be altered by the customer if you add injectors, more boost, etc....... The base MAP will be fine if you run standard injectors and 5-6psi.
The kit comes with a Reflash Licence & Cable for ECU (MAP supplied by AVOTurboworld).
