AVO Turbo World, one of the leading producers of aftermarket performance products for Subaru, Mazda and Nissan, and the manufacturer of many innovative turbo systems and related parts, has turned an engineering eye to the 2018+ Suzuki Jimny.
When we looked at the performance of the 1.5 liter normal atmospheric engine in this chassis, it became obvious that the factory airbox was not designed for performance, to say the least!
More exhaust flow will give your Jimny more power and torque. Perfect purchase where the customer has a cat back and just needs to extra piece to connect up with the Header piece or Forced Induction kit.
The 2" front pipe kit for the Jimny is constructed from high-grade 304 1.5mm stainless steel which ensures longevity and aids with noise absorption. Your factory OEM front pipe also uses a fairly restrictive front catalytic converter. The AVO front pipe addresses this issue with a single large 5" body high-flow metal catalytic converter, larger than available from most other makers. All this adds up to a huge decrease in back pressure and a big increase in performance due to volume. AVO have also manufactured a OEM style flex setup as it is required to fit with the factory OEM cat back exhaust. Without the donut gasket and OEM spring loaded bolts, then your headers and any welds forward of the flex are prone to cracking. The flanges are stainless steel and are 10mm thick, therefore will not warp under the harshest of conditions. The front flange on the front pipe also has the taper in the flange so that it correctly fits to the factory Header.
